Current work at McQuilling Partners, and platforms I have led.

Sailbot Current

I lead the design and development of Sailbot at McQuilling Partners, a maritime intelligence platform. It brings together email analysis, summaries, recommendations, data ingestion, and an MCP server, with identity-aware access and AI policy. I work with Snowflake, Sigma, and Azure, using Claude and GitLab.

Market data and AIS ETL Current

I lead the design and development of ETL tools that extract market data from PDFs, email, and AIS position APIs, with real-time and scheduled ingestion into databases. I use Python scripts, Azure Container Jobs, and Power Automate.

Continuous Delivery Current

At PCH I moved delivery from one release a month to several per week with CI/CD, containers, and orchestration. I apply the same practice at McQuilling Partners.

AppServices 2024

I led 8 developers and QA engineers on an AWS microservices platform that powered mobile products used by millions of people.

Performance, reliability, and observability

I established logging, telemetry, and incident response for backend platforms in production.
